How to hack an IKEA shelf

A customized shelf to place around your laundry machine can be extremely useful. Just thinks: a place where you can separate clothes and keep your detergents and fabric softeners. The dream of any organized home owner.

To do this and replicate the effect we learned about here,  you will need two Molger shelves and one Molger bench. Then, you’ll also need good tools like saws, drill, screws, nails and “brackets”.

Then, it’s just a matter of mimicking what you see in the picture. Make the bottom part of the hacked shelf first and don’t  forget about the support brackets.

For a perfect finish, use the remaining boards to make something similar to a “tile”, it’s great to hide any inaccuracies. There you are: your very own customized laundry shelf.
