Tiny Japanese Apartment Converts Into Antiques Shop

A 355 square foot apartment outside of Tokyo, in Toshima has been converted into a dual purpose unit consisting of a Scandinavian antiques shop called FIKA during the weekends, and the owner’s abode for the remainder of the time.

One of the main features of the apartment is the two story shelf which acts as a divider and helps separate the living area from the public shopping area, though the kitchen area can be seen through the divider.

Amongst the products displayed are the owner’s personal belongings and paraphernalia which are all for sale. One of the walls features a full length window, allowing copious amounts of daylight to brighten up the space, and a single bedroom is located upstairs.
